Stephen Dorsett graduated from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in studio art in 1999. After graduation, he traveled to Japan to teach English in a public junior high school for three years. Upon returning to the United States, he studied at Eastern Kentucky University where he received his master’s degree in art education. He has been teaching art at Lexington Catholic for 14 years. Stephen has also taught psychology and has served as the Associate Campus Director at the Governor’s Scholars Program for a total of six years. Stephen has been working with AdvancED since 2010 where he has served as an external review team member and a lead evaluator. In his spare time, Stephen paints, take photographs, and runs. Stephen is currently working on his master’s degree in school counseling at The University of the Cumberlands.
