The Counseling Department at Lexington Catholic High School is dedicated to fostering an environment where students can flourish in mind, body, and spirit. Recognizing the high hopes and aspirations of our students, our skilled counselors provide comprehensive support throughout each student's high school journey to help them achieve their long-term goals. Available throughout the day, our counselors offer social and emotional support, guidance on preparing for college, and advice on how to succeed academically in high school. Our counselors also collaborate with families to ensure holistic support. The services provided by the Lexington Catholic Counseling Department encompass: 

  • Mental Health Lessons: Within group settings, students receive essential information and tools to understand and manage their mental well-being, manage stress, and get along with others
  • Personalized Emotional and Social Assistance: Whether grappling with academic pressures or other emotional hurdles, our team offers a safe place for students to find support
  • Comprehensive College Preparation: Students receive support throughout the college planning process – including college and career research, assistance with college applications, and navigating the scholarships and financial aid.
  • Engaging Educational Events: Students and families have opportunities through their high school careers to attend daytime and evening events that help them prepare for college. Students also have opportunities to meet college representatives from around the country facilitated by the Counseling Office.
  • Focused Academic Support: Our counselors are instrumental in supporting students academically. By monitoring grades and offering personalized academic assistance, we ensure that every student has the opportunity and encouragement to excel.
