Our Programs

Pathways of Emphasis

Pathways of Emphasis

Pathways of Emphasis (POE) allow students to identify and explore areas they are interested in or passionate about to aid them in determining potential post-secondary studies. POEs do not constrain students to a single selection of courses. Rather, during this self-discovery process, students gain skills in concentrations while following a normal course of rigorous studies. Students who complete a POE will be recognized at their graduation, and their transcript will indicate completion of a POE.
Exemplar Scholars

Exemplar Scholars

The Exemplar Scholars Program offers a rigorous curriculum and diverse creative opportunities for our most talented students. The program includes three main tracks: Math, Science & Technology; Liberal Arts; and Fine Arts. Each track features a highly selective admissions process, increased academic rigor, a Leadership Speaker Series, and a culminating Senior Project and Showcase. The Math, Science & Technology track provides research and mentorship opportunities, while the Liberal Arts track emphasizes group community service projects and internships. The Fine Arts track offers mentorships with professionals and opportunities to showcase talents to the public.
