Reunions & Events

LCHS was happy to welcome home our outstanding alumni and friends during our reunion weekend of October 18 and 19.

We began with a Keeneland Tailgate on “The Hill” on Friday. Many alumni and friends showed up (especially class of ’69) and had a great time together Then, on Saturday night we had a grand time with The Mercy Men in the Alumni Gym and the UK football game on in the cafeteria. Everyone enjoyed the food provided by Little Caesar’s and Raising Cane’s and the class of ’77 sponsored bar. Tours were given, and there were so many wonderful stories told.

Thank you to everyone for attending and making it happen! Special thank yous to the classes of ’69, ’80, ’84, 89, 99, ‘09, ’10 for hosting your reunions around this weekend. Congratulations to our Dance Contest winners: First Place - Jerry Stout ’72 and Peta Jones; Second Place - Amy Hoover ’99 and Kylie; Third Place - Leslie Hinkle and Sarah Streepey List ’10.

We want to make your reunions as easy as possible for everyone to enjoy! Make the Keeneland Tailgate and Fall Knight’s Bash your reunion destination next fall. All you have to do is contact Pam Schneider to receive your class list, bring your group together, and we will have everything set for you. We will post the date as soon as possible and look forward to seeing you back home at LCHS next October.
