M.A. in Education Psychology and Counseling, University of Kentucky Ed.D. Course Work Completed, Educational Policy and Studies and Evaluation, University of KentuckySusan West graduated from Centre College with a Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education, in 1981 and then she worked at Centre College for five years in the Student Life and Athletic/Physical Education departments. During the summers she served as the Assistant Dean of the Governor’s Scholars Program for the first five years of the program. She recently retired from the University of Kentucky after working there for thirty-four years as the Assistant Dean of Students/Director of the Fraternity and Sorority Life. Susan has assisted Lexington Catholic High School and Christ the King School by serving as a substitute teaching. Her two grown children, Kelley Taylor and James West, graduated from LCHS in 2005 and 2008, respectfully. She spends most of her non-school time with her five grandchildren. She is also a member of Christ the King Parish.
