Ashley began coaching in 2013 as the Head Volleyball Coach for the Lady Knights. Under her leadership, the program has improved their record as well as increased numbers in participation and talent. This includes 5 college signees with 4 of them being Division 1 players. Ashley is actively involved in growing and developing volleyball in Lexington. Over the past 8 years she has been a youth coach for Lexington United Volleyball Club and a Volleyball Performance Coach with Operation Athlete. Ashley was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She played volleyball at Marshall University from 2000-2003 while earning a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Marketing. From 2005-2006 Ashley was a graduate assistant for The Herd while earning a master’s degree in Athletic Administration, and a master’s degree in Physical Education. She is currently an assistant athletic director and teaches health and physical education at Lexington Catholic. She is married to Adam Federle and they have a son named Noah.
