Bio

Jeff Kaufmann is a 1994 graduate of Winona State University, in Winona, MN where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, with minors in Mass Communication and Coaching.

He taught middle school and high school math in his hometown of Woodstock, IL from 1994 to 2006, where he also coached volleyball, basketball, and tennis.  He held the head volleyball coach position from 2000-2007.   In 2012, he began teaching at St. Mary Catholic School in Woodstock where he coached and served as the Athletic Director from 2013 to 2015.  In 2017 he switched professions and became an Implementation Manager for Davisware, Inc, a software company out of West Dundee, IL.

In the summer of 2020, he and his family moved to Lexington, and in the spring of 2022 was hired as the head volleyball coach here at Lexington Catholic.  In the summer of 2022, he joined the faculty at Lexington Catholic as an instructor in the Math Department.  He and his wife Tara have five children, Alexandra (27) & husband Nik and granddaughters Siena and Clare, Isaac (26) & wife Hannah Marie, Jordan (24), Matthew (22) and Hannah (19).  They are members of the Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary parish, where Tara is employed as the Operations Director. Both Matthew (2021) and Hannah (2024) are graduates of Lexington Catholic High School.
