Samuel Cutter and Jonathan Wright have been named semifinalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Competition. Sam and Jonathan are amongst the 16,000 semifinalists nationwide that were selected from the 1.2 million students who entered the 2021 scholarship program. The nationwide pool of semifinalists represents less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors. Along with the other honors and awards that have been bestowed on them, Sam and Jonathan were selected based on their academic record and their demonstration of leadership and participation in school and community events. Both students will now be eligible to apply for the next round of recognition and scholarships.
