Bio

My name is Dr. Micah Smith. I have a degree in mathematics from Berea College, a master’s in teaching mathematics from Eastern Kentucky University, and a PhD in STEM education from the University of Kentucky.  This upcoming year will be my 16th year teaching. My wife (Katie) and I have been married for 11 years, and we have 2 sons Rowan and Oliver. I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, going rock climbing, reading great books, going fishing and playing chess. I look to another great year teaching at Lexington Catholic and hope everyone enjoys my classroom.
