We are excited to announce Mr. Lee Tegt, current teacher, is Lexington Catholic’s new girls’ basketball head coach.
"I am excited about the opportunity to be a member of the girls' LCHS basketball program. I am looking forward to our growth in pursuit of our fifth state title," says Lee.
Mr. Lee Tegt teaches in both the social studies and science departments at Lexington Catholic. Along with teaching, Mr. Tegt works in the athletic office and is a coach for the girls' basketball program.
Lee is a 2011 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Secondary History Education. While completing his Master of Arts Degree in Education Lee studied in Costa Rica with local schools on education and instruction techniques as well as participating in an international research project studying Leatherback sea turtle nesting habits along the Pacuare River and Caribbean Coast.
