New Head Bowling Coach

Please help us in welcoming our new Head Bowling Coach, Jack Burns.

“I am excited to be the new bowling coach for Lexington Catholic. I currently work full time as a Police officer for the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government. I am married and have four girls, a son-in-law, a granddaughter, and grandson. Two of my children attend Lexington Catholic, and our youngest attends Mary Queen of The Holy Rosary. I am a Lexington Catholic Alumni, and I have been a police officer for over twenty years.

Bowling is a passion of mine, and I have been bowling since the age of four. I bowled my first perfect score (300) at the age of sixteen. I have bowled a total of ten 300 games and one 800 series. I was a member of the 1991 Kentucky State Championship team and the Professional Bowling Association from 1989-1991. My bowling average is around 215 with my highest average being 225. I have been on several league championship teams, and I was selected three years in a row for the Herald-Leader all-star team.” ~ Jack Burns, Lexington Catholic Head Bowling Coach
