JennyRose S. HernandezHead Coach Archery

This is JennyRose’s first year as head coach and 3rd year as a parent coach for the Lexington Catholic archery team.  Her husband Steve is an assistant archery coach.  Her son Jesse is a LCHS graduated and attends UK.  Her daughter, Olivia is a Junior and 4th year archer with LCHS.   

 

JennyRose is a Licensed Midwife from the Philippines, and currently a fulltime wife and mom.  She is plainly focusing on the welfare of her two kids and her family.  

 

Her family moved to Lexington in 2015.  She volunteered in the Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Paws organization (Parents Active With School) to be with her two children during their elementary and middle school years.  JennyRose and her husband were leaders in the Navy Sea Cadet Program of Mary Queen where she trained to be an ensign and an administrative/supply officer (2017-2019). 

 

She obtained her National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Basic Archery Instructor Certification in February 2021. 

 

JennyRose’s is honored in having the privilege to provide support and share her knowledge with archery team.  She strives for everyone to enjoy archery and develop  

their full potential. 

Steven P. Hernandez: Archery Assistant Coach

Steve achieved his National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Basic Archery Instructor certification in February 2021.  He is the Husband of the head archery coach JennyRose Hernandez.  His son, Jesse is a LCHS graduate and attending the University of KY.  Steve’s daughter, Olivia, is a LCHS Junior and 4th year archer.  Steve is a retired U. S. Navy Dentist and the Financial Secretary for the Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary’s Knights of Columbus council.  He is a part time general dentist at HealthFirst Bluegrass in Lexington, KY. 

Rick Fightmaster : Archery Assistant Coach 

I am Coach Rick Fightmaster and this is my fourth season with the archery program. I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky, ‘96. I am married to my wonderful wife Rhea and we have three daughters; Katie, Ellie, and Izzy. Looking forward to and great season. Go Knights! 

Steve Keeney: Archery Assistant Coach

Steve Keeney obtained his NASP BAI certification after his grandson, Alexander Fowler, a student at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School joined the Lexington Catholic Archery team. Steve and his wife Lisa have been parishioners at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary church since their move to Kentucky in 1989. Steve retired in 2016 and Lisa, having worked 15 years as a secretary at the Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School, retired in 2011. 
 
Their children graduated from Lexington Catholic High School - Patrick class of 2000 and Beth class of 2003. Patrick is a BAI instructor for the archery team at Garth Elementary school in Georgetown where he serves as the assistant principal. Beth Keeney Fowler and her husband Drew have three children attending Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School - Alexander, Olivia and Sophia.
