Coaching Staff

Marie Henderson graduated from Lexington Catholic where she was a member of the dance team for four years and captain during her junior and senior years. She received the UDA All-American award and a UDA staff invitation. She then proceeded to dance for four years on the dance team at Benedictine College where she was also the dance captain her final two years and was on the competition team.

Marie taught at the Raven School of Dance while she completed her minor in Dance along with her degree in Elementary Education. She is currently the 2nd grade teacher at St. Leo in Versailles.

 Before returning to Kentucky, Marie was a coach of the dance/cheer team at St. Martha Catholic School in Kingwood, TX. Growing up, Marie competed on a national and regional award-winning competitive dance team where she received multiple competition awards.

Marie is excited to be returning to Catholic, in a different role, to share her love for dance with the team and support LC athletics.
