Bio

Rumpke has been an Executive Consultant for Lexington Catholic since January 2023. He also served as an assistant football coach at Catholic for 25 years and was on several volunteer committees at the school over the years. Mr. Rumpke’s work as a part-time consultant to Lexington Catholic High School, along with past his involvement in athletics.

For the past years, Rumpke has built an expansive career working in the publicity department at the Cincinnati 
Reds, in the Advancement Office at Wittenberg University in Springfield Ohio before moving to Lexington to 
work for Host Communications. He was director of marketing for one of Host’s biggest clients, the National 
Tour Association, as well as doing public relations work with the NCAA and numerous local clients including 
the Bank One Senior PGA Golf Classic. Rumpke also worked in the horse industry in marketing for the Red 
Mile and its owners, the Lexington Trots Breeders Association and Castleton Farm.

Rumpke and his wife have two sons, both graduates of Lexington Catholic: Michael, 37, (Class of 2004), 
President of Alpha Radon, and Marc, 22, (Class of 2019) who recently graduated from the University of 
Dayton, where he played football. They are all members of Christ the King Parish.
