JennyRose Hernandez

Head Coach Archery

 

 

JennyRose is the parent coach for the Lexington Catholic archery team since 2020. She assisted in the administrative paperwork, and she fixes arrows with her kids and her husband Steve Hernandez, who is also a parent coach. She has two kids in Lexington Catholic, her son Jesse was also in archery and graduated high school this year 2023. Her daughter Olivia Hernandez started archery when she was in eight grade and an incoming Junior.

 

JennyRose is a Licensed midwife from the Philippines, and currently a fulltime wife and mom. Her husband served in the U.S Navy Military. Due to her husband’s work they used to move frequently every two years, but this does not stop her from doing volunteer work. One of them is doing administrative help in her children’s school and a lector in the church. In years 2010 to 2012 she volunteered as clerk in the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society. Her husband retired from the Navy in 2015, that’s when they moved in Lexington, Kentucky.

 

She joined the Paws organization (Parents Active with School) 2015-2021 in Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School with her two kids during their elementary and middle school years. Then she and her husband helped the Navy Sea Cadet Corps in Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary. She was trained to be an ensign and an Administrative/Supply officer (2017-2019). She spends her time mentoring the LCHS archery team. She is inspired by the dedication and aspiration of many team members. She attained her National Archery in the Schools Program in NASP Basic Archery Instructor Certification in February 2021.She will continue to attend training to master her coaching skills to lead the archery team effectively. She is delighted and honored to share to the LCHS archery team.
