Bio

Coach Dieters attended Rochester High School in Rochester Hills, MI and played number one singles on the varsity tennis team from 2008-2011. Dieters was a two time MHSAA Division I State Champion in 2009 and 2011 and a two time state semifinalist. She finished her high school career with 107 wins, including undefeated seasons as a sophomore (25-0) and senior (29-0). In 2011, Dieters was named Miss Tennis for the state of Michigan and a National High School Tennis All-American. She earned Division I All-League, All-State and All State-Academic all four years of her career and was also named Rochester High School’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the Detroit Free Press. Dieters was inducted into Rochester High School’s Hall of Fame in 2014.

 

Following high school, Dieters had an impressive college career and was ranked as a top 50 Division I tennis player. She played number one singles and doubles at The Ohio State University prior to transferring to University of Kentucky. Dieters completed her last two years of eligibility as a Wildcat where she helped UK reach the NCAA Tournament both seasons and qualified each year as an individual to compete in the ITA All-American Championships. Off the court, she received the Big Ten Conference Sportsmanship Award and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cissie Leary Award for Sportsmanship in the Ohio Valley Region. She was a two-time Southeastern Conference (SEC) Academic Honor Roll selection and Academic All-Big Ten selection.

 

Dieters has extensive experience coaching tennis players of all ages and abilities. She has continued to provide lessons part-time and enjoys helping players develop their game. Outside of tennis, Dieters graduated from University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and is a licensed pharmacist in Kentucky and Ohio.
