Our state champion 200 freestyle relay team (Matt Menke ‘19, Smith Dicken ‘19, Scott Scanlon ’19, and Zach Hils ‘19) ended the year ranked number one in the nation! Our state champion 200 medley relay team (Matt Menke ‘19, Thomas Strother ‘19, Zach Hils ’19, and Scott Scanlon ‘19) ended the year ranked number nine in the nation! All four swimmers from the medley relay will be swimming at the college level on SEC teams.
We also had multiple swimmers make the all-American list again this year. Matt Menke ‘19 made it in two events: 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Thomas Strother ‘19 made it in 100 breaststroke, and Zach Hils ‘19 made it in the 200 individual medley.
