Bio

Prior to Mrs. Mullins becoming the Director of Special Academic Programs, she was a literature teacher for 16 years; 6 of those were at Lexington Catholic, and ten were at St. Joseph Catholic High School in West Virginia. 

Originally from Upstate New York, Meredith received her Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Emerson College in Boston, MA. Prior to this, she received her Bachelors in English with a double concentration in creative writing and professional writing and a minor in journalism from Elon University in Elon, NC. Since 2006, she has taught a variety of writing and literature courses at various colleges and universities including Emerson College, Marshall University, Ohio University and Shawnee State University. She is currently an adjunct at Midway University and BCTC.

Hobbies:
Spending time with her husband and two sons traveling, hiking, kayaking, and fishing. She also likes to write and cook.
