Coaching Staff

Lexington Catholic is excited to introduce Lauren Carter as our new Head Dance coach.  Lauren danced competitively and was technically trained from the age of 3 at Lexington Dance Factory and Diana Evans School of Dance.  As a dancer, she won numerous regional and national awards, including Grand National Champion with Dance Masters of America.  She has also trained with the Louisville Ballet and Radio City Rockettes.  Lauren is currently a Universal Dance Association Instructor and trained Head Instructor – working with middle school, high school, and collegiate dance teams. In addition, she has worked UDA National Dance Competitions and the Varsity Spirit College Dance Team Combine. 

Lauren was a Lexington Catholic Dancer in high school and had the opportunity to work with our team this past summer at UDA Camp.  That familiarity with our school and team, combined with her obvious passion for coaching, technical knowledge, and emphasis on a fun and challenging team environment, made her an excellent choice for this position.  Through the interview process, Lauren was able to relay her love of being a dance educator because of the joy of watching dancers expand their dance and technique knowledge to achieve the next level in their dance journey.
