Beta Club

The Beta Club is a national organization that recognizes outstanding academic achievement and service. Class of 2023 and 2024 must maintain a 90% overall average and Class of 2025 must maintain a 95% overall average, and all members must complete 6 hrs of service in addition to required school service.   

Induction Ceremony (all new members are expected to attend)

Arrival:  All inductees need to arrive no later than 6:45 p.m. in order to be arranged and seated alphabetically.  Your promptness and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Attire:  Dress for this special ceremony is semi-formal.  Ladies may wear dresses or skirts (to the knee) or dressy pants that follow school dress code guidelines.  Please be modest and sensible.  You will be walking across the stage; choose shoes accordingly.

Gentlemen: may wear a dress shirt and tie, suit, sweater, or sports jacket with dress pants.

Reception:  You and your guests are asked to please attend the reception that is being prepared by the Academic Boosters for your enjoyment immediately following the ceremony (will conclude around 8:00 p.m.).

Guests:  Invite your parents, close relatives, friends, and teachers.  Seating will be on the main floor as well as the balcony.

Being inducted into the LCHS Chapter of the National Beta Club is an honor and privilege.  You represent the best of Lexington Catholic academically.  Please show everyone the respect they deserve.
Note: If you are absolutely unable to attend, submit a written note, signed by your parents, to that effect.
