Aviation Program

Students in the program are required to visit their local air-port and begin to make contacts with their local CFI (Certified Flight Instructor), technician, or control operator, depending on their interest. Once they turn 16, they can begin logging hours toward their private pilot’s license. At Lexington Catholic we can help them make the contacts, but we are not involved in the actual flying. The aviation program helps students learn about how an aircraft works and the skills required to fly and work around aircraft's.
