Y Club is a service organization that is also involved youth government programs.  At Lexington Catholic, we sponsor one service project or fundraiser each month. Students choose and implement the service projects.  Recent service projects include making sandwiches for Catholic Action Center, a book drive to support International Book Project and blanket making to support the Appalachian Mission Drive.  Y Club members also attend the Kentucky Youth Assembly (KYA) and Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) both of which are mock government conferences.  KYA models the Kentucky State Government System while KUNA models the United Nations.  At both conferences students write and debate proposals.  Students also have the opportunity to run for office at both conferences.  At our most recent KYA, our freshman received the award for Outstanding Premier Bill and debated on the Senate floor at the Capital Building in Frankfort.
