Boyd is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Fasig Tipton Company, Inc., the oldest thoroughbred auction company in North America. He is beginning his fourth year on the Board of Trustees and is the chair of the Advancement Committee. Boyd is also involved as a board member of The Race for Education & Blue Horse Charities. He and his wife, Tracy, have four daughters: Brittany, a 2004 graduate of LCHS; Megan, a 2006 graduate; Paige, a junior at LCHS and Bailey, a student at Christ the King.


Linda Carroll

Linda is serving her first year on the Lexington Catholic Board.  She is an active member of St. Paul Parish and continues to serve on the board of Sts. Peter and Paul School.  Linda is the Vice-president of Morgan Worldwide Consultants, Inc. a small engineering company serving the minerals industry worldwide.  Linda is the mother of two Lexington Catholic graduates, Patrick Morgan, a junior at Catholic University of America and Simon Morgan, a freshman at University of Loyola, Chicago.  Linda played an active role with the faculty in the performing arts departments at LCHS and continues to support the development of those programs.  Linda also serves as Vice Chair for the LFUCG Historic Preservation Commission.  Linda and her husband John Morgan have enjoyed living in downtown Lexington for the past 25 years.
James F. Conneely, Ph.D

James Conneely is currently the Vice President for Student Affairs at Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to Dr. Conneely’s administrative experience, he also holds an appointment as an Associate Professor in Higher Education at Eastern Kentucky University. He has had the honor to serve his colleagues in various positions through the Southern Association for College Student Affairs, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, and the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International. Degrees: B.A. - St. Bonaventure University, M.S. in Ed. - Alfred University, Ph.D. - Georgia State University, Certificate -Management Development Program, Harvard University. This is his third year on the Board where he serves as Chairman of the School Life Committee.
John Cox and his wife Ann, have three children: John ('06), Collin ('09), and Abby, a 7th grader at Christ the King.  John owns and runs Thorough-Graphic Signs, Inc., a specialty sign company in Lexington.  John is also the Chair of the Communications Committee.
Sandy Devers

Sandy is an alum of Lexington Catholic having graduated in 1968. She and her husband, Marvin, have four children, and all have graduated from Lexington Catholic: Brandon (2001), Lindsay (2002), Marvin (2004) and Ashley (2005). Sandy has lived in Lexington for 45 years. She is the past chairperson for LFUCG for United Way Domestic Violence Committee, as well as past chairperson for the United Way Police (1983-2000). Currently, she is a YWCA Board member, Domestic Violence Crime Prevention Board Chairman, Bishop Gainer’s Diocesan Review Board Chairman, Chairperson for United Way’s Division of Police and Chairperson for the Spouse Abuse Shelter Board. Her skills and interests include: criminal law, policing, fiscal management, cooking and decorating.

Bob has been a member of the Lexington Catholic Board of Trustees since 1994 and is a 1965 graduate of LCHS and also serves as a member of the Finance Committee. Bob was previously the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Fifth Third Bank, where he began work after a thirty-five year career at Kentucky Utilities. He served as president of KU from 1998-2000. Bob has been involved at the board level in numerous civic efforts including: the St. Joseph Hospital Board Chair, the Strategic Planning Committee Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges & Universities, Commerce Lexington, Bluegrass Tomorrow, Lexington Industrial Foundation, Lexington Strides Ahead, Lexington Area Sports Authority, REACH Inc., and the United Way of the Bluegrass. Bob and his wife, Donna, have two children, Heather and Brad, both graduates of Lexington Catholic, and two grandchildren. Bob is a member of Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary parish.


John Hinkel and his wife, Monica (Bryant) Hinkel are both 1973 Lexington Catholic graduates.  They have four children: Lindsey, Ellen, Tyler and Thomas.  Lindsey, Ellen and Tyler have all graduated from Lexington Catholic and Thomas is currently a junior at LCHS.  The Hinkels are members of Christ the King Cathedral.  John has practiced law in Lexington since 1980 with the firm of Fowler Measle & Bell, PLLC, where he is a member.  At Lexington Catholic he stays very involved as a member of the Alumni Council.  And he and Monica were Chairpersons for the 2006 Gridiron Classic, past Co-Presidents of the LCHS Football Booster Club, and John spoke at the 2006 Career Day.  He also sits on the Drug and Alcohol Committee, and he is currently a Class Captain for the Class of 1973.  John is also very involved in the Lexington Community: Member of Parish Council for Christ the King Cathedral for two separate terms, President of the Kiwanis Club of the Bluegrass, and a Member of Site Based Committee for Morton Middle School.

Joseph Hood

Joseph M. Hood is serving his first term on the Board.  An Ashland native and graduate of Holy Family High School there, he was appointed a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky on April 30, 1990, by President George Bush.  He became the Chief Judge of the District on May 2, 2005, holding that position until he took Senior Status on October 14, 2007.  He received the Kentucky Bar Association’s Outstanding Judge Award in 1999.
He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and its College of Law.  Prior to entering law school, he served four years in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Captain.  His service included a year in Vietnam as an infantry company commander.  While in the military, he completed Airborne, Ranger and Special Forces training and was awarded various decorations including the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device and 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Purple Heart.
A Lexington resident since 1993, he attends the Cathedral of Christ the King where he is a Lector, Sacristan, and Eucharistic Minister.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Christian Appalachian Project, a member of Board of Directors of the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, a past member of the Board of Visitors at Salmon Chase College of Law, and a past member of the Board of Trustees at Alice Lloyd College.

He has been married to the former Carol Ann Stowe, a substitute teacher at Lexington Catholic, since 1970.  They have two adult children, one of whom, Betsy, is a Lexington Catholic graduate.
Steve Hupman

A 28-year long Lexington resident, Steve is the President/Owner of APEX Realty, a multi-service, commercial real estate company. This is his sixth year on the Board of Trustees and he serves as Vice-chairman of the Facilities Committee. He has also been actively involved with his parish, Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary, Central Kentucky YMCA, and with Junior Achievement. He and his wife, Debra, have three children: daughter, Ashton, a 2007 LCHS graduate, son, Benton, is a sophomore at LCHS, and daughter, Merrick, is in school at Mary Queen.
Jeri Isbell '75

Jeri is a native of Lexington and a graduate of Lexington Catholic (1975). She has three children who have/will graduate from Lexington Catholic - Erin (2003), Rob (2008), and Jeff (2012). She is an active member of Mary Queen Parish where she serves on the Finance Council. Jeri is VP of Human Resources at Lexmark. She has also been VP of Finance and the US Controller at Lexmark where she has been employed for 17 years. Jeri is a CPA. She serves on the Board of Commerce Lexington, the Lexington Metro YMCA HR Committee, and the Catholic Diocese of Lexington Finance Council.


Martha Jones '73

Martha is a 1973 graduate of Lexington Catholic High School, a lifelong resident of Lexington and a member of Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary parish. Martha is a partner/shareholder in the CPA firm of Dean, Dorton and Ford. She has been involved in community-wide efforts through her work with such organizations as the United Way of the Bluegrass and the Kidney Foundation. Martha served as Chairperson of the Lexington Catholic Board for the 2005-2007 school years and has been on the board since 2000.
Clarke Keller

Clarke Keller is serving his first term on the Board.  Clarke is an attorney at Stites & Harbison, PLLC, where he has practiced law since 1984 and been a partner since 1990.  His previous civic involvement includes board membership of Eastern Little League, First-Link, Lexington Diocese Board of Catholic Education Finance Committee, and Notre Dame Alumni Club of Central Kentucky.  Prior to law school, Clarke was a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Air Force and Kentucky National Guard.  He is active in Christ the King parish, where he serves as a lector and member of the Faith Formation Committee and the St. Vincent DePaul Society.  Clarke and his wife Lissa have two children:  their daughter Mackenzie is a sophomore at Notre Dame and a 2007 LCHS graduate, and their son Patrick starts LCHS this Fall as a member of the class of 2012. 


Brian McCarty '87

Brian (’87) is beginning his eighth year on the Lexington Catholic Board of Trustees. He and his wife, Katherine Veal McCarty (’88), are both alums of LCHS. They have three daughters.  Mary Katherine is in 5th grade at The Lexington School and Sarah Jane is in 3rd grade at Christ the King. Their youngest, Martha Lee, is four years old. Brian is the owner/operator of restaurants in and around Lexington including Malone’s and Sal’s. He and his family are members of Christ the King parish.
Stephanie was appointed to the Lexington Catholic Board of Trustees in 2002 and is serving as Chairperson for 2008-2009.  She is employed by Fifth Third Private Bank as Assistant Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor, providing investment and wealth planning services.  Stephanie and her husband Joe are active members of St. Paul Parish.  They have two sons, Joseph H. Nallia III ’03, who is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and Miles Harris Nallia, a class of '08 graduate. Stephanie is a Rotarian, graduate of Leadership Lexington, serves on the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center board, is a member of the Diocesan Strategic Planning committee and served on the Diocesan Finance Council for many years. 
Bud Schneider

Bud is a native Lexingtonian, and has worked as a builder in the area for over thirty years. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees for six years, he has served on the Building and Grounds Committee since 1994 and has served as Chairperson of this committee for the last six years, overseeing the construction of the new fine arts wing (including a 440-seat theater) the 1800-seat athletic center (The Robert J. Beuter Gymnasium), the Joseph K. Ford stadium, and the library. Bud also served as Chair of the Building and Grounds Committee at Christ the King during the construction of Hehman Hall and the gymnasium. Bud and his wife, Pam, the Alumni Director for Lexington Catholic, have two sons, Buddy and Bo, both of whom have graduated from Lexington Catholic, and a daughter, Blair, a senior at LCHS.

Nick is a native of Lexington, a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School (1972), and the University of Kentucky (1977) with a degree in Business Administration.  He and his wife, Lynda, have two sons who graduated from Lexington Catholic, David (2003) and Patrick (2006).  Nick and his family are members of Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary parish.  He is beginning his first year on the board, and has served on the Facilities Committee for two years.  He is currently Senior Vice President for The Webb Companies.  He began his career in real estate with The Webb Companies in 1983, and earned the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.  He has served the Institute as the local chapter president, was a Regional Vice President for Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky from 2003-2004, and is currently Vice Chair of IREM’s Ethics & Discipline Committee.  Prior to joining The Webb Companies, Nick worked in the hospitality industry with Hyatt Hotels and Radisson.  In late 1996, he was appointed as Facilities General Manager for the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts where he also served on the Capital Planning Advisory Board reviewing capital project requests from all State agencies.  Nick rejoined The Webb Companies in 2000 and oversees a real estate portfolio comprising nearly one million square feet of office space and parking facilities.


Joseph Smith '72

Joe is a 1972 graduate of Lexington Catholic,  and he and his wife, Sharon, have three children: DeLloyd  (97), Joseph (99),  and Sharai (01) - all graduates of Lexington Catholic. They are members of St. Peters Church.  Joe has been a Realtor in Central Kentucky for 21 years, and active in the community all of his adult life.


Ben M Streepey is a Vice President and General Manager at Lexmark International.  He is currently serving as chairman of the Technology Committee. He had previously been vice chair of the Finance Committee and participated in the Advancement Committee. He is a product of Catholic education and is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes and Trinity High School in Louisville.  He has resided in Lexington the last 30 years and is an active member of Christ the King, where he served as a co-chair of the Oktoberfest Raffle, and along with his wife Judi chaired the United in Faith campaign at Christ the King to build Seton Catholic School. He has served on the Board of Directors of Robinson Nugent and is currently on the Finance Committee of Saint Joseph HealthCare, the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville Engineering School boards. Ben and Judi, also serving on the Technology Committee, have two children, Sarah and Benjamin.
Mark is a 1987 graduate of Lexington Catholic. He subsequently graduated from Clemson University with a B. A. in English. Mark currently is co-owner of Taylor Made Farm in Nicholasville, Kentucky with his brothers Duncan, Ben and Frank who are also Lexington Catholic alumni. Mark and his wife Julia have two children, Walker (born 2000) and Josh (born 2003).
Mike Towles '87

Mike Towles attended St. Paul’s School and graduated from Lexington Catholic in 1987 and the University of KY in 1991. He is a native Lexingtonian. Mike currently serves as the Vice-President and has a vested ownership in Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Company.

Mike and his wife Mindy have two sons, William - age 9 and Coleton – age 12, who attend Christ the King School and plan to attend Lexington Catholic in the future. Mike serves on the Christ the King and Lexington Catholic Property Committees.  As a parishioner, he has participated in Christ the King’s capital campaign and chaired various Oktoberfest committees. For the past seven years he has also served on the board of M.A.S.H. Services of the Bluegrass (a non-profit agency serving homeless and run-away teens) and served 2 years as the chairman. Mike is also a member of several business organizations, including the Bluegrass Chapter of the International Facility Management Association and the Kentucky Roofing Contractors Association (KRCA).


Ann is the faculty representative on the Board of Trustees this year.  She was voted onto the Board by the LCHS faculty at the beginning of the school year.  She serves as a voice for the teacher and the campus community.  Ann sits on the School Life Committee and the Athletic Oversight Committee.
George Ward

George Ward and his wife Lorie have 6 children, all receiving a Lexington Catholic Education -Elizabeth Lovejoy (’06), Alex Ward (’06), Linsey Ward (’08), Emily Lovejoy (’09), Nic Ward (’10), and Madi Ward (’12).  George is currently the VP of Business Development for Transposagen Biopharmaceuticals. He spent four years in state government as the Secretary of the Commerce Cabinet and the Commissioner of State Parks, and spent 18 years as the president of H&W Management Co., Inc., a regional hotel development and management company.  He continues to serve on the LCHS Finance committee and is active with the LCHS Football Booster Club.  George had a K-12 Catholic education in East Syracuse, NY.
