Head Coach Steven Shehan

Coach Steven Shehan just ended his ninth season at Lexington Catholic. In nine seasons at Lexington Catholic, he holds a record of 152-60-5. He has led the Knights to the KHSAA State “Final Four,” five out of the last 6 years. Coach Shehan’s Knights finished as state runner-up in 2003. In 2004, Lexington Catholic completed a magical run through post-season to capture the 2004 Kentucky State Championship.

Assistant Coach James Wellman

Coach Wellman has completed 9 seasons as a coach at Lexington Catholic. He is a 1982 graduate of Lexington Catholic High School where he played four years of soccer (1978 - 1981).

Assistant Coach Greg Hilvers

This is Greg Hilvers’ 6th year with Lexington Catholic. Coach Hilvers is a graduate of Lafayette High School and was a NSCAA All-American as a senior.

Athletic Trainer Barb Winters

Barb is beginning her sixteenth year as Athletic Trainer for Lexington Catholic. An employee of Lexington Clinic Sports Medicine, she received her B.S. degree in Athletic Training from Eastern Kentucky University and her M.S. degree from Morehead State University in Exercise Science.
