2006 – 07 Ice Knights

 

KNIGHTS IN SEMI-FINALS

 

The Lexington Catholic Knights are making their third appearance in the State Semi-Finals in the last 5 years.  Saturday the Knights will face the winner of the South Oldham/Dunbar quarter-final game.  Game time Saturday is 1:15 p.m. at the Lexington Ice Center.  The Knights finished the regular season with record of 10-3-2.  This is the 5th straight year the Knights have finished with a record of .500 or better.

 

In the other Semi Final game, the Trinity Shamrocks will face the winner of Henry Clay/Lafayette.  Game time is 5:45 p.m. Saturday. 

 

The winners of the semi-finals will face off in the State Championship Sunday at 5:45 pm at the Lexington Ice Center.  The Knights are attempting to reach the finals for the third time in the last 5 years.  The Knights won the title during the 2002-03 season.

 

5 KNIGHTS MAKE ALL-STATE TEAM

 

Five Lexington Catholic Knights have been selected to play in the All-State All-Star game.  The game will be played Saturday night at 8:15pm at the Lexington Ice Center. The All Stars from Lexington Catholic are:

Patrick Frohoff (injured, unable to play)

Michael Champa

Greg Hanner

Sam Purdon

Coree Sommers (named as an Alternate, replaces Frohoff)
