The Robert J. Bueter, S.J. Athletic Center was constructed in 2000 on the campus of Lexington Catholic.  The athletic center was built completely on a $2.1 million donation from Charles "Junior" Johnson.  Former athletic director, Danny Haney, oversaw the design and construction of the athletic center, and because of his vision, it ranks among the finest high school facilities in the country.

The Robert J. Bueter, S.J. Athletic Center is a multi-use facility that can host a wide variety of events.  The center's features include:

·         94-ft. college-length main basketball court with shot clock capabilities

·         Court can be converted to two 84-ft. high school-length courts with dividing curtain

·         Six scoreboards

·         Four team dressing rooms and two officials' dressing rooms

·         State-of-the-art weight room and cardio workout room

·         Athletic department offices overlooking the court

·         Athletic training room

·         The center can be converted to concert seating for hosting graduation ceremonies
