CATHOILIC ACTION CENTER- BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT…

THEIR’S IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!

Are you looking for an AMAZING Lenten experience?? Are you willing to invest 4 evenings of exploring what the Beatitudes call us to be? This may be YOUR calling to go deeper… an opportunity to connect with men and women who have lived on the streets of our community, who are willing to speak from their hearts and share their journey….an unbelievable opportunity to understand our SAME KIND OF DIFFERENCE: our God-given dignity and giftedness.

The basis will be listening to the outstanding true life story by Ron Hall and Denver Moore: Same Kind of Different As Me.  A meal will be shared as we listen to passages from the book, discussion will follow and relationships will blossom!  Join with men and women who have experienced homelessness to hear and discuss the BLESSEDNESS of each person... The story will lead you through the realization of our SAMENESS, the gifts and brokeness we all share and the journey of healing through each other.

TAKE A CHANCE: GIVE YOURSELF THIS GIFT…your Lenten journey will be deepened as you hear the words of Christ through each other!

The discussions will be held at the Preakness Apartment Community Building:

733 Hillrise Court (off Versailles Rd.).  Two groups will be offered:
