Monday, May 15, 2006, started off with the same weather that we had been experiencing for several days (cooler temperatures and rain), but that didn't dampen anybody's enthusiasm. Father Mark Dreves led us in prayer, held off the rain and the 6th Annual Principal's Cup was enjoyed by all. 90 golfers began the day at Spring Valley Golf Club with a delicious lunch and a putting contest. The Bieschke's came all the way from California to support LCHS and Ed Fister traveled the farthest in Kentucky. Many parents, alumni, board members and friends had a great day on the links.
Two Holes-In-One Sponsored by Glenn Auto Mall
 Principal Sally Stevens "putted off" the start of the scramble at 1:00PM. A "Shoot for the Pool" contest was added on Hole #8, along with the two Holes-In-One sponsored by Glenn Auto Mall. There were also two longest drives and two closest to the pins. We had wonderful volunteers and a special thank you goes to Paula Hardin, Susie Morton, Charlie Myers, Debbie Schnurr and Kathy Yoko. Thank you too, to Todd Myers ('93), Tom O'Brien ('71) and the Alumni Council for their support of the event. A fun day was had by all! We had our largest field of golfers yet and are hoping to build on it for next year. The Cup benefits tuition assistance (over $7,500.00 this year!) and all donations, sponsorships and players are greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to the 7th Annual Principal's Cup on May 14, 2007. Mark your calendars and start thinking about your foursomes!
