Principal's Cup

Monday, May 14th, was a beautiful day!  80 plus golfers had lunch, participated in a putting contest and then, were "putted off" to their start by Principal Sally Stevens.  The Principals’ Cup was formed with the idea of helping with the tuition assistance program at LCHS and of honoring Lexington Catholic's Principals, past and present.  President David Hardin remembered them in our opening prayer:  Sister Celine Maria, S.C.N., Rev. Leo G. Kampsen, Father Robert Nieberding, Rev. Paul Arbogast, Sister Mary Lea, Jim Taylor and our current principal, Sally Stevens.  Two other individuals, who have given so much to Lexington Catholic and enjoyed playing in The Principal's Cup in the past years, were also honored:  Joe Ford and Bob Osbourn.

Not only did everyone enjoy an afternoon of golf at Spring Valley Golf Club, much FUN was also had by all along the way.  The "Shoot for the Pool" contest didn't have a winner, but Frank Taylor and Bobby Langley came very close to grabbing the $100.00 cash prize.  Thank you to our volunteers, Debbie and Barb Schnurr, Kathy Yoko, Sandy Devers and Susie Morton.  Thank you too, to Todd Myers ('93), Tom O'Brien ('71) and the Alumni Council for their support of the event.  Approximately $7,000.00 was raised for our worthy cause and the following are the list of winners.  We hope you can join us for our 8th Annual Principals' Cup on Monday, May 12, 2008!
