Career Day – January 10, 2008. Once again, co-chaired by Susie Morton, Kathleen Quigley and Kerry Nemecek. One change for this event is to drop the number of sessions from four to three. Also, four speakers will have larger venues and the most requested careers by the students, will be put in the Theater, upstairs Theater, and the two upstairs Bueter Gym locations in order to accommodate the student numbers/three sessions. Susie, Kathleen and Kerry will meet next week to update their progress.
-
Hall of Fame Game – rescheduled to January 18th, 2008, which is the Winter Homecoming. The inductees have been contacted and they will be recognized in between the girls and boys basketball games that day. There is a chance that the game will be played at Memorial Coliseum because high attendance is expected with Mason County playing LCH. Location and times TBA at a later date.
-
Mid-Knight Stakes – February 2nd, 2008 – Although the Alumni Council is not directly involved in the chairing of this event, Alumni are always needed as volunteers and Debbie Schnurr will once again be in charge of that coordination.
