Alumni Council Meeting
November 6th, 2006
Present: Pam, Bob, Kathleen, Darrel and Tom
Not Present: Todd, John, Susie, and Sandy
Business Lunch: We discussed many different options for getting this kicked off. We decided that we needed to name it. Several possibilities were brought up, but nothing was decided for sure. We thought LCHS would be a good start; Linking Catholic Businesses for Heightened Support. We decided we still need to work on it a little more... keep brainstorming!!!!
Some ideas for the business lunch:
1. Business owners could get up and speak about their business???
2. Drop your business card in the hat, and win the opportunity to be highlighted/featured on the web and/or in the magazine??
3. Network and discover what other LCHS alumni are involved in
Open House, Thursday Nov. 9th, 5:30 - 7:30 for the workers
We want to have a presence of alumni around the building, to say hi and answer any questions if anyone has one, help direct people if needed, help greet people etc....
Phonathon Week of Nov 13-16 we need some help from the alumni on Monday and Tuesday evening 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
A script will be written up that we will be able to use.
Communication Process for Class Captains/Reunion Ambassadors
We had some discussion on this topic, but didn't decide on anything specific.
Next Meeting is set for Monday, Dec.11th, 11:45 AM, at the Crowne Plaza Campbell House. We decided to have our next meeting during lunch. The Campbell House has a good buffet for $10.95
We need to get something finalized about the business/networking lunch, so bring some ideas with you. We would like to set our first business lunch for February or March, 2007.
