St. Michael: House Michael is named after St. Michael, the Archangel. St. Michael expelled Satan out of Heaven and is the enemy of Satan and of fallen angels. He is the Angel of Death, descending at the hour of death and giving each soul a chance at redemption. He weighs each soul on judgment day using his perfectly balanced scales. St. Michael is also said to be the guardian of the Catholic Church. The Hebrew meaning of Michael is he who is god-like.
Patronage: St. Michael is the patron Saint of grocers, mariners, paratroopers, police, and the sick.
The Crest: The St. Michael house crest represents the simplicity of St. Michael’s mission. He is THE Archangel who is the advocate of man and the protector of the Catholic Church.
