International Student Academic Requirements
We highly recommend that our international students work with a placement agency to ensure the best possible academic and cultural experience. We are proud to partner with the following agencies. Their representatives work with Lexington Catholic faculty, staff, the student and their family to provide a seamless transition.

Students must first apply for a F-1 or J-1 visa through the US Department of Homeland Security. You will be asked to provide appropriate documents from your residing country.

EF (Education First)
Foundation for Foreign Study

All International Students applying for admission must first provide an official transcript in English. Please include course descriptions, credit hours or hours spent in class per week. Students are also asked to designate whether they plan to study at Lexington Catholic for one year or more. If they plan to graduate with a Lexington Catholic High School diploma, they should plan to enroll and attend Lexington Catholic for at least 4 semesters.  Students must secure health insurance through their placement agency or their own family policy. Please submit documentation of coverage during the application process.

Electronic Device Policy and Translators

1) Cell phones are not permitted in classrooms or hallways during school hours. This includes iphones or other electronic devices, even if they do not have cell service or WiFi connectivity.

2) Foreign Exchange students may use a dedicated (stand alone) translator without internet connectivity. These are the only approved devices for use in school.
