Hoagies 2011

YOU ARE ALL INCREDIBLE AND AMAZING!  What a blessing to be a part of this special Lexington Catholic community!  THANK YOU to everyone that volunteered to work on this important FUNdraiser for our school!   425 parents (current and past), students, faculty/staff, board members, alumni and supporters of the school were here Saturday morning!  218 volunteers made phone calls/e-mailed and worked Prep, for a total of 643 volunteers!   35,500 hoagies were made (approximately 221 per minute) Saturday morning by 8:10 AM!  Fastest time ever!  Thank YOU for the phone calls and e-mails contacting the volunteers, thankYOU for selling, purchasing and delivering hoagies, thankYOU for working prep week, thank YOU for working Saturday morning and thank YOU to the maintenance staff!

The Catholic Action Center received their donations from the LCHS community, and they picked up 3,500 hoagies along with extra trays of salami and cheese!  They will be put to good use now and frozen for use during the long winter months.

Due to goals and incentives being met, the students will earn:

 - School-wide Hoagie Holiday on Wednesday, November 23, 2011
 - Dress Down for Winter Final Exams and Spring Final Exams
 - Individual Hoagie Days for students that sold 60 or more hoagies.
 - Seniors who sold 60 or more hoagies will be granted early dismissal or late arrival from school if they have a Study Hall during the first or last hour of the day.
