Equine Academy

Inspiring the next generation of equine industry leaders
By combining our rich
tradition as a first-class, faith-based educational institution with an
incomparable location in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky, the Equine Academy
offers an exclusive blend of educational, practical and extracurricular
opportunities for students with a life-long passion for the horse, as well as for
those being introduced to the equine world. A non-breed, non-discipline
specific program, this is a unique opportunity for students with interests in
all aspects of the horse industry.
The Equine Academy’s primary academic component will be a four-year, equine-related course curriculum. Additional off-campus, college-level courses, mentorships and research programs will be offered through our partnership with the University of Kentucky Ag Equine Programs.
Students will also experience an extracurricular program, which will offer internships, events, seminars, field trips, job shadowing, service projects and special events.
Lexington Catholic High
School enjoys an expansive network of people, businesses and events in the
Central Kentucky equine industry that will be utilized to provide an endless
array of real-world experiences unavailable elsewhere in the world.
