Alumni Business Lunch
The "Fat Tuesday" Alumni Business Lunch was held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at Winchell's on Southland Drive. Everyone enjoyed a good lunch and good company. The drawing for a free lunch was won by Jimmy Nash ('62). We will keep you posted on the date and location for the next luncheon. It's a great way to catch up with classmates and take a break from your day.
Alumni Keeneland Outing - April 24, 2009
The 3rd Annual Alumni Keeneland Outing was held on Friday, April 25, 2008, from 11:00AM - 1:00PM. Each year we meet at the old main entrance on the left. You'll see an LC blue tent and balloons. Alumni and friends are always welcome to stop by for some food and beverages on your way into Keeneland. It's a great way to catch up with old friends at the race track and provides a fabulous kick-off for a reunion weekend. Click here for more info on 2008's outing. Career Day
Career Day was held on Thursday, January, 10, 2008 for the LCHS Junior and Senior classes. We had 20 different career topics with 36 speakers. The juniors and seniors chose 3 different careers to hear about and the speakers made their presentations with time for questions and answers during 30 minute sessions. We had an impressive list of speakers who shared with our students the path they took to get to their career, what a daily schedule is like, their financial earnings, etc. Click here for pictures and more information.
Hall of Fame
The Lexington Catholic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held on January 18, 2008. Click herefor pictures and information from the 2008 induction. (Click herefor 2005 Induction). Candidates for the LC Hall of Fame should meet the following qualifications: His/Her class must have been graduated ten years, Nominees must have been outstanding in one or more sports, while attending LCHS, and as a non-player, such as a coach, trainer, chaplain, donor or other, the nominee must have made outstanding contributions to LCHS athletics (does not have to be a LCHS graduate). Principal's Cup - May 12, 2008
The Principal's Cup is an annual golf outing for alumni and friends of Lexington Catholic High School held at Spring Valley Golf Club on Sandersville Road. The 8th annual outing will be Monday, May 12, 2008. All proceeds from the event benefit the tuition assistance program at Lexington Catholic. It is an excellent way for you to market your business in the Central Kentucky community while supporting this worthy cause. Click here for highlights from 2007!
Spring Fling
This is our annual THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE LEXINGTON CATHOLIC COMMUNITY for all their support throughout the year! Spring Fling was held on April 26, 2008. For a minimal ticket price ($15 in advance, $20 at the door) guests enjoyed snacks, an open bar, and dance music provided by the band SWING STREET!
