We know that Champions are made at Lexington Catholic.
Champions pray here. Champions learn here. Champions play here.

The Mission of the Champions Made Here Campaign:

To continue providing Lexington Catholic High School students the resources needed to become Champions on the field, in the classroom and in the expression of their Catholic faith.

Some History:

Ten years ago, the Lexington Catholic High School community shared a vision of providing students the athletic facilities necessary to expand the school’s tradition of excellence from the classroom onto the playing field.  This vision became a reality in the revolutionary Joseph K. Ford Stadium, the first high school facility in the nation with a synthetic turf playing surface.

Upon completion of these historic facility improvements, Lexington Catholic began an unprecedented ten-year period of success with a winning tradition that includes 9 Kentucky state championships in four sports as well as numerous team and individual accomplishments.

The Challenge:

As home to multiple sports teams and community groups, Joseph K. Ford Stadium is beginning to show its age.  The once-historic turf surface is nearing the end of its lifespan and other aspects of the sports complex require improvements to better prepare our student athletes for a long future of continued success.

The Plan:

Inspired by our history of athletic and academic success at Lexington Catholic, we will meet the challenge by embarking on a fundraising campaign entitled Champions Made Here.

Funds from the Champions Made Here campaign will be used to provide facility improvements to assure the future championship success of Lexington Catholic athletics.

The Goal:

To fund all of the renovations to the Joseph K. Ford Stadium, the Champions Made Here campaign goal is $2 million.  Pledges to the campaign are payable up to five years.  The goal is to encourage participation from all who believe in the mission of Lexington Catholic High School.  Gifts and pledges of all sizes will help us achieve the goal of continuing the tradition of success at Lexington Catholic High School.
