Career Day
Career Day 2011
Career Day on Monday, October 3, 2011, was a wonderful opportunity and a great success for our juniors and seniors. Thank you to the Speakers who made presentations of their chosen professions to our students as they prepare for the next phase of their academic life. The speakers are alumni and friends of LCHS who share the paths they took to their careers, the educational requirements, their salary expectations, what a day in their life is like, etc. The students especially enjoy hearing the enthusiasm the speakers have for their chosen career! We had 32 speakers with 20 different career categories. Our Juniors and Seniors chose 3 of those to attend. Not only did our students enjoy their morning, our speakers enjoyed sharing their experiences. Todd Myers 93, stated We have inspired another generation! We had an impressive list of speakers for Career Day 2009, who shared with our students the path they took to get to their career, what a daily schedule is like, their financial earnings, etc.
