Swim Coach Lindsay Munson

Lindsay Munson (Head Swim Coach): I am blessed to say that this is my first year being the Head Coach of a high school swim team! Swimming has been a passion of mine since I was able to walk, and I have grown up around the swimming pool my whole life. My favorite memory was getting to swim breaststroke for the first time at regionals and qualifying. When I swam again, I set a record and it was an amazing feeling! I always make sure to have breakfast in the mornings of swim meets, then I make sure thatI have snacks, water, and Diet Coke available to me throughout the day. I never eat a lot on Gameday, I’m usually nervous and really excited! My words of wisdom are to “Don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits!” If you do your best, know that you put your all out there, then know that you were successful no matter the score or standing. I am so honored to be working with Coach Allison and Coach Jamie this season! They are the best coach teammates that anyone could ever ask for. Our kids are persistent, goal setters, great teammates, and the best to coach. I couldn’t ask for a better team!

Allison George Assistant Swim Coach:

I’ve coached on and off my entire life, over 15 years.During my time coaching, I have experience coaching club, summer, and varsity high school. One of my favorite college swimming memories was swimming 200 fly against another club friend from Louisville (Lakeside) who was attending Miami of Ohio.We always enjoyed swimming against each other and had wonderful memories competing against one another. I greatly enjoyed being an Academic All-American and captain at Wittenberg University. On Gameday, I can’t eat, but I love coffee and fizzy water! My words of wisdom are, “Be yourself, be grateful, be happy.” I’m honored to be working with the swimmers at LCHS and serving my alma mater.I was the only female swimmer my year at Catholic.I’m so happy to see the program grow.
