High School 101

High School 101: Study Skills and Strategies for a Successful High School Career

An optional, 4-day camp for incoming students, to introduce and reinforce a variety of skills that will enable any student to adjust and to be successful in and out of the high school classroom

Topics Include:
Time Management Organizational Strategies
Note-Taking Memorization Techniques
Test-Taking Strategies Studying for Tests
Conflict Resolution Investigative Science Skills
Student-Teacher Relations Healthy Peer Relationships
On-Campus Resources (LCHS) Goal-Setting (long and short term)
Summer Reading Prep And much, much more!

Session I: June 5-8 (8:30am-noon) – 4 days
Session II: June 12-13 (8:30am-2:30pm) – only 2 days
Session III: July 17-18 (8:30-2:30pm) – only 2 days
Each Session is the same---Space is Limited. Session 3 is best for those taking summer school classes

Cost: $100 – (includes materials, t-shirt, snacks, and pizza lunch on last day)
Students enrolled in the 2-day sessions, lunch will be provided.
